JULY BEAUTY NEWBIES….

I’ve added some additions to my beauty vanity this month. Summer means skins, and here’s how I’m taking care of mine;

At night I’m washing my face with Peter Thomas Roth’s 3% Glycolic Solutions Cleanser. It is anti-aging & exfoliating. It removes my makeup and any excess oil. The Glycolic Acid shrinks pores, improves clarity and reduces fine lines. 

For day and night Eye Cream I’m using Park Perfection’s 2 in 1 Instant Eye Lift. It’s designed to tighten and lift the eye skin while reducing wrinkles and puffiness. It uses minerals, peptides and antioxidants to balance and enhance skin around the eye. 

I was overdue for a new foundation brush. I am very happy with NYX Cosmetics Total Control Drop Foundation Brush. It’s designed for liquid but i’ve used it with my powders as well. It blends perfectly. I love that is it angled to get around every curve of your face. 

I am obsessed with Macadamia Professional Nourishing Repair Oil Spray. It’s officially summer, which means I’m not drying my hair. I let it air dray and then add this spray for a finished look. It has an ultra fine spray and instantly adds shine, moisture, softness, and uv protection. It says to use on wet hair, but I’ve been using it on both wet and dry.

OI THIS WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE!!!!….

I’m telling you to get into this entire line. If you want soft hair, this is your answer. I recently discovered the line Oi by Davines at my last hair appointment. My stylist used it on me and I had to call her later to get the details. I was touching my hair all day. I couldn’t believe how soft and light it felt. I’ve always loved Davines products and this line hits it out of the park.  “The name OI comes from the ancient Eastern idea of harmony through the balance of opposite forces. In an effort to create balance between the senses, mulitple benefits and effectiveness, OI lets you see immediate positive results from your first use.” The power ingredient is Roucou oil, which gives major shine and softness, as well as protection from environmental damage. The Shampoo and Conditioner are luxurious. My favorites are the Lightweight Oi All in one Milk and the Multi-function Oil. They detangle, control frizz, and protect from heat. So try out Oi from Davines but don’t get freaked out if everyone starts playing with your hair…..

because they look amazing and are soft and shiny. My new favorite lip products is Locked & Lit from Smith & Cult. It’s a CBD lip balm gives the most perfect, natural, shine and look. a slip tease. I wrote about my fave red find this year, but I wanted to shout out my 2nd fave. NYX’s Slip Tease Full Color Lip Lacquer in Dexter. This is like a liquid lip meets a bold gloss. It has major staying power and a beautiful amount of shine. It has an hourglass shaped applicator for percise application. It is lightweight and smooth with a vanilla scent. So be a Tease in Dexter, you can get away with it in red….
