so I’ve upped my serum game. I am currently using Nani Pua’s 1960 Ethnobotanical Face Serum. This luxury botanical oil blend is lightweight yet insanely moisturizing. It brightens and hydrates with “15 vital rare ingredients” that address a broad range of skin conditions. Ethnobotany is the study of a region’s plants and their practical uses through the traditional knowledge of local culture and people. Head to their website to review each ingredient used and why they chose it. So get with Nani Pua and don’t let winter take the glow out of your skin.

with August & Monroe’s Calm Cream. August & Monroe was created by a makeup artist who personally suffers from sensitive, acned skin. This moisturizer is soothing and hydrating. The lightweight gel texture quickly absorbs and goes great under makeup. I recommend checking out the before & after pics on their website. I love the packaging. The bottle keeps product air locked and is refillable. The cream is fragrance free, paraben free, clean, vegan, and cruelty free. So get with August & Monroe and give your skin some zen….

I’m loving Skinceuticals Triple Lipid Restore moisturizer. It is designed to restore the skin’s external barrier and support self repair. I found it to be majorly nourishing and hydrating. It will help to even out and improve overall radiance. It’s lightweight and fast absorbing.

I’m protecting my body at the beach with Neutrogena’s Invisible Daily Defense Lotion SPF 60+. I love the texture and smell of this sunscreen. It’s hydrating and formulated with antioxidants. It is quick drying and lightweight.

My new serum is StriVectin’s Super C Retinol Brighten & Correct Vitamin C Serum. I love the concept of a Vitamin C and a Retinol in one product. This lightweight serum brightens and firms skin, while smoothing fine lines and improving texture. It’s not sticky at all, and absorbs fast. It is perfect for layering under a moisturizer and makeup.

Shine lip gloss with Patricia de Leon’s Sexy Shine Lip Gloss. I have it in Angel. It is the best feeling lipgloss I have ever used. It’s super light, and extremely silky. There is zero stickiness, or oiliness. I don’t feel the need to constantly reapply.  The line is vegan and cruelty free. So pucker up to PDL Cosmetics, and kiss the sticky, heavy, glosses goodbye…

is now a good thing when it comes to skincare. Thanks to Typology and their innovative no b.s. all results approach. The line is sold exclusively online, direct to consumers, in order to offer the highest quality at the best price. The line is like a chic french apothecary meets the Ordinary….but better. “Our philosophy is not to add anything to our products to make them stand out; instead we pare them back and distil each formula down to the most-essential, natural active ingredients.” The line is natural and sourced from sustainable farms using gentle extraction techniques. I will touch on a few of my faves from the line, but I strongly suggest checking out all they have to offer on their site. The 7 Ingredient Micellar Water quickly removes makeup and grime. I use the Hydrolate Organic Orange Blossom, which is a gentle essence that revives tired skin. Next I use the Antioxidant Serum 3% Ferulic Acid + 3% Resveratrol, to firm skin and fight aging. I wait a minute or two and follow with the Radiance Serum 11% Vitamin C, to increase radiance. One of my favorite’s in the line is the Eye Serum 5% Caffeine + 5% Niacinamide. It’s a circulation boosting eye serum that fights dark circles. It’s extremely lightweight and absorbs instantly. I’m somewhat obsessed with the Radiance Night Serum Botanical Blend with White Rose. It is an overnight Oil that boosts radiance and regenerates skin while you sleep. It feels ultra luxurious. It is a must add to cart. The bottles are beautiful and look great out on the counter. So say oui’ to Typology, and let this French brand be your new crush…

with some new faves. Lets start with skincare. I’m loving Algenist Skincare’s AA Barrier Serum. This antioxidant rich serum is designed to defent the skin barrier against pollutants and environmental aggressors. It uses Alguronic Acid, Niacinamide, Phloretin, and Ergothioneine. It improves skins appearance and uneveness. I love the texture of it. It feels luxurious and absorbs well.

My new makeup finds start with a cult favorite foundation. I now understand why Estee Lauder’s Double Wear Foundation is so popular. This 24 hour wear, full coverage, Matte foundation really delivers. It leaves skin looking fresh and flawless yet somehow remains lightweight on the skin. It is heat resistant, and waterproof. There are over 55 shades to choose from.

Taking things to the ever important brows. For the last few years I’ve stuck with NYX’s micro brow pencil. I think it’s better than its expensive competitors. I’m now following it with their Control Freak Eyebrow Gel. It is a clear gel that tames brows and gives a fuller effect. It’s not sticky and stays comfortable all day. So play with some new finds for 2021, I won’t tell last year’s products you’re cheating 😉

and you should too. Attitude is an eco conscious, sustainable, skincare and homecare company. For every product you buy of their’s they plant a tree. I have been using a few of their body lotions. My favorite is the Intense Nourishing Body Lotion. It is designed to hydrate and protect skin to leave it balanced and strengthened. The star ingredient is Avocado Oil. It is blended with anti inflammatory, calming oatmeal & fatty acids. The moisturizer is lightweight and absorbs fast. It’s free of all the bad things, and loaded with the good. So get soft skin with Attitude, and show it off …….:)

I usually like full coverage, matte, foundation. When I want to go a step less than full, with a little luminosity I use Koh Gen Do Maifanshi Aqua Foundation. It is stated to give a right after facial glow, and I think that is the perfect description. It uses light diffusing minerals to brighten and minimize pores while resisting oiliness. It is very lightweight and breathable. It contains lots of good for you ingredients to improve your skins texture and health. So lighten up your foundation this summer with Koh Gen Do, and take something off….

in your beauty routine with Fleur 333 facial oil. I love this brand and their “The Oil” is game changer. The line is designed to restore skin to a balanced and harmonious state. “The sensory experience of anointing yourself daily with flower and plant essences soothes your nervous system and expands consciousness. The subtle vibrations penetrate and awaken each layer of your Being in a joyful dance that guides you toward vibrational harmony.” Each bottle is hand poured with healing intention into Miron violet glass. The Oil is a multitasking lightweight blend. What I love most is it’s lightness and how quickly it absorbs into skin. Most oils seem to sit on top of the skin. This one has a dry oil finish. It increases elasticity balances sebum, tones, and boosts your complexion. Some of the power ingredients are Seabuckthorn berry oil, Rose Otto, Ylang Ylang, Carrot Seed, Geranium, Grapefruit, Lavender, Vetiver, and Rosehip. So vibe higher with Fleur 333, and enhance your outer and inner beauty…

and so is my foundation. I am using Loreal Paris’s Infallible 24 Hour Fresh Wear Lightweight Foundation. Gone are the days of spending big bucks to get a foundation that looks and feels luxurious. Drug store brands have stepped up in a major way. This one lasts with a Matte finish all day and night. It is breathable, waterproof, transfer resistant, and has spf protection. The coverage says medium to full. I find it so be a healthy looking full coverage. It has oil absorbers to resist sweat and water. It comes in 30 shades, so go get your Infallible coverage, and let it last all night….
