I love everything I have tried from Vacation Inc. Their new Vacation Inc Super Spritz SPF 50 Face Mist did not let me down. I love this product and plan to buy more when I run out. It is lightweight, leaves no residue, and has a barely there feel on the skin. The scent is very subtle,(I wish it was stronger because I love their signature scent) but I understand why they went light with a face product. I appreciate that the spf is at level 50, for me I will use nothing less when it comes to my face. I use this to layer over face sunscreen, and touch up throughout the day, or post ocean swim. It works great over my makeup since the mist is fine and gentle. It does not cause the makeup to move or run. I love that it’s packed with skincare ingredients. The bottle is lightweight so great to keep in your purse.

I was surprised by how much I liked PÜR Beauty’s Cloud Cream Gel-to-Water Hydrating Essence Moisturizer. I have tried many “gel to water” moisturizers and I haven’t noticed anything special about them. This is the first one that one that truly gave me an amazing experience. It’s lightweight, absorbs fast, and hydrates as promised. It worked fabulous under my makeup and sunscreen. I will continue to use this year round. I believe all skin types, sexes, and ages will benefit. The Gel to Water solution is extra great for oily skin since it leaves no residue. I would use sunscreen with this product since it has encapsulated retinol. I am a fan of the simple packaging. This line is clean beauty without the annoyingness that sometimes comes with clean brands.

here’s what I am playing with this month…

Alastin Skincare’s HA Immerse Serum. It’s lightweight, absorbs quick, great for layering, and sits well under makeup. It’s won some awards, and Alastin is a skincare company you can trust.

Dior Addict Lip Maximizer Plumping Gloss. Everytime I think I found my favorite gloss, I fall in love with another. This is definitly a top 3. I have it in Pink 001, and it is perfect. The right amount of shine, no stickyness, and great hold.

I pair the above gloss with the perfect Nude Liner I found from ColourPop. It’s their Lippie Pencil in BFF. It goes on smooth and easy, and pairs with any nude lip or pink gloss.

Stay tuned for what March brings…

Lip Gloss from Mally. This gloss is shiny and lightweight. There is no tackyness, and it lasts (for a gloss). I love the applicator. It grabs the perfect amount for application, and the pointed tip allows you to be exact with placement. I loved the color on me, and think it would work well with most skin tones. It is a nice in-between of a berry and a pink. There is a light tingle when applied. I did not notice any plumping, however I have big lips so it’s not always evident. Lips are left hydrated, soft, comfortable. The gloss has Vitamin E, Rice Bran oil, Jojoba Seed and Sweet Almond Oils to soften and moisturize. I will be using this flexible nude from Summer to Winter.

To say I’m Obsessed with Vacation Sunscreen is an understatement. Their latest invention, Classic Whip SPF 30 Sunscreen Mousse is my favorite of the line. It is also my favorite body sunscreen I’ve ever tried. It is SPF 30 Broad Spectrum, water resistant up to 80 minutes, and fun. I have turned so many people on to this line and this particular product. Both Men and Women have commented on how amazing the smell is. I even have two friends that went and bought the Vacation Perfume after using this. It is unbelievably lightweight, and quickly melts into skin. I think all sunscreen should now come in a whip can. On top of SPF there is also Coconut Oil, Aloe Vera, Banana Extract, Shea Oil, and Vitamin E. Remember a little goes a long way. Its so fun to use, it’s easy to over spray. I’m praying to the Vacation Gods that they come out with an SPF 50 in this.

skin safe with Versed Guards Up Daily Mineral Sunscreen with Broad Spectrum SPF 35 protection. They really took care of every sunblock problem with this product. It is lightweight and absorbs fast. There is no white-cast at all. It has a peach tint to it, which almost gives a filtered look to the skin. The texture is silky and works great under makeup. I often forget I have it on because it is so comfortable. This sunscreen has UVA,UVB and blue light protection. It is recommended for all skin types including those that are acne prone. It has antioxidants, sea fennel and mooring seed extract. I feel the brand really used their skincare knowledge to give customers exactly what they want in a face sunscreen.

Body moisturizer is so last year. That’s why I’ve been using B. Fresh’s line of body serums. These are perfect for the summer because they are lightweight and sink into your skin fast. I live in Miami so I’ll definitely be using them year round. The range covers the needs of hydration, exfoliation, brightening, and firming. The line is clean and cruelty free. I love how soft my skin feels with this product. No grease, just smooth skin.

There is nothing not to love about Vacation sunscreen. It smells amazing. I would call it “musky tropical”. The only thing this product doesn’t have for me is the degree of protection I prefer. I like 50 and higher. That being said, the 30 did a great job protecting my skin.  It is broad spectrum which is a must. Never use a sunscreen that is not! I like that it is non aerosol, yet has a continuous spray. The spray works at all angels so no problem doing your back and legs etc. The feel is lightweight, with no stickyness or white cast. It is completely transparent and layers well. I like that it uses coconut oil, aloe, vitamin e, shea oil, and Banana extract. It’s a vegan brand you can feel good about using. Check out their instagram and website, it’s really cute.

I’m rolling into this month with a bunch of new finds. First is the Honey Banana sheet mask from TWOTSP. This Korean sheet mask uses Manuka Honey and Bananas to reduce bacterial growth and fight signs of aging. It hydrates, brightens, and balances.

At night I’m caring for my under eye skin with Estee Lauder’s Advanced Night Repair Eye Concentrate Matrix. It reduces the look of fine lines and leaves skin firmer and more nourished. I love that it’s lightweight yet effective.

I’m caring for my hair with Loreal’s new Everpure Sulfate Free Glossing pH balanced Shampoo and Conditioner. It leaves hair silky and shiny. The line is anti fade and UV filters to be gentle on color treated hair.

I love going over my dry hair with a few drops of Typology’s Repairing Hair Oil with Acai 5% + Hibiscus. It is a lightweight dry oil that controls and softens hair. This is the finishing touch your hair needs.

On to the body, I love Soap and Glory’s Magnificoco Drop In The Lotion Body Lotion. I love the smell and it absorbs quickly.

Lastly I’m using Sally Hansen’s Insta Dri X Peeps Collection in White. It dries so fast and only needs one coat.

Stay tuned for what I get into this April…

so I’ve upped my serum game. I am currently using Nani Pua’s 1960 Ethnobotanical Face Serum. This luxury botanical oil blend is lightweight yet insanely moisturizing. It brightens and hydrates with “15 vital rare ingredients” that address a broad range of skin conditions. Ethnobotany is the study of a region’s plants and their practical uses through the traditional knowledge of local culture and people. Head to their website to review each ingredient used and why they chose it. So get with Nani Pua and don’t let winter take the glow out of your skin.
