I use sunscreen 365 days a year, and you should too. I found a great one for your face. It’s Kinship’s Self Reflect Probiotic Moisturizing Sunscreen with Zinc Oxide SPF 32. It feels great on my skin and works well under makeup. It also has Turmeric in it so soothe and protect skin.

My hair is really long, and I’m always looking for products to give it volume at the root. I have found that Drybar’s Southern Belle Volume Boosting Root Lifter really helps. You add a bit to your roots and get major volume.

I found an inexpensive night cream I love. I use it over a retinol serum. It’s Versed Skincare’s Recovery Mode Advanced Night Cream. It’s a pretty purple cream designed to fight aging and dryness. It uses fermented purple tea, green coffee, and microalgae. I love how it sits on my skin. It’s not too heavy but highly protective.

when you want to actually clean your strands with dry shampoo Swair haircare is there for you with their showerless shampoo. It’s designed for post workout hair. You spray it throughout your scalp, comb through, then towel dry. You’re good to go, if you want you can do a quick blowdry for a more finished look. Swair is designed to interact with your hair so “dirt and sweat can be towel dried away leaving you with hair that is actually clean”.  Dry shampoo is designed to give the look of clean hair, Swair actually does the job.

Nature Lab’s Tokyo Perfect Clean Style Refresher was the first product I tried from this company. I’m hoping the whole line is as amazing as this product is. I have very long, thick hair and I touch it way too much. My biggest issue is the roots getting oily and the heaviness making it look limp. This product is perfect for those issues. It smells amazing, it refreshes, absorbs oil, and reinvigorates your look. It is perfect for post gym hair, or post cigar bar. You must shake it really well to get the proper effect. Simply spray roots to end and you’re good to go. It is lightweight and leaves no residue. I have very dark brown hair and there was not a spec of white to be seen. This allows you an extra day, to three days between washes.

Kenra’s Design Spray 9 Light Hold Hairspray is my new favorite hairspray. It tames hair and gives a movable hold, while being soft and brushable. My favorite thing is the smell! It smells like strawberries and cream, and I can’t get enough of it. I’ve had people comment on the fragrance is passing. I got mine at Ulta.

to do your roots at home with Clairol’s Nice’N Easy Permanent Root Touch-Up. It’s a 10 minute at home root color kit. You get plastic gloves, the color, and a special brush to get all the roots. I chose the perfect color match my first time, no problem. I leave it on for 15 minutes, though the instructions say to do 10.  It completely covered my grays and was so easy to use. It’s perfect to use when you’re trying to extend the time between salon visits, or as you’re only coverage method.

hair is a few steps away with SexyHair’s Calm Sexy Hair line. The line is powered by CBD. My favorite is the Clear the Hair soothing pre-shampoo scalp treatment. It’s a quick and easy way to detox your scalp before you hop in the shower. You just massage it into your scalp and get a light lather going. It removes buildup and moisturizes the scalp.

I also like their Soothe Sesh soothing hair and hand cream. It’s a very lightweight cream that moisturizes hair, revitalizes a dull look, calms frizz and add shines. Rub in any extra product to your hands for some skin love. So keep your hair Sexy and Calm, and keep on….

tell you what I’m into lately. I found an amazing makeup sponge that is super cheap. It’s the Real Techniques Miracle Airblend Mattifying Beauty Makeup Sponge. I use it for almost every step of my makeup. It gives a flawless foundation finish, and blends your bronzers, blushes, and highlighters beautifully. It has a flat edge, rounded sides, and precision tip to get all over your face. As with all these sponges they work better when you use them wet.

I’m puckering up with Too Faced Lip Injection Extreme Lip Plumper. I’m not one to use lip plumping products but I was sent this for free, so I thought I’d give it a whirl. OMG this stuff actually works. My lips were immediatly plumped and left with beautiful shine too.

I’m getting Big Hair with Tresemme’s One Step 5 in 1 Texture spray. It makes my beach waves look dramatic, and it revives next day hair. I usually use aerosol texture sprays, this seems to have a stronger grip.

Try out my May finds, and let me know yours….

your hair with Agadir’s Daily Moisturizing Shampoo. A lot of sulfate free shampoos do not lather well, and you need to use a lot of product. With Agadir Daily Moisturizing Shampoo the bubbles start right away, and I noticed I needed less than my usual amount of product to really get a good cleansing throughout my waist length hair. The smell is awesome. It left my hair to be soft, shiny, and frizz free. I don’t think you can have too much Argan Oil in your life, and there’s in 100% pure and certified.
It also uses Vitamin E, antioxidants and unsaturated essential fatty acids with Omega-6 & Omega-9. I also love their Spray Treatment and Mousse. It is not like the Mousse we used in the 80’s. It leaves your hair soft and controlled.

K18 is here to repair! I am so happy with the results of the K18 hair mask. This leave in Hair Mask repairs damage and gives a flawless finish to your hair. I have very, very, long hair and I normally use a ton of conditioner in the shower. I was nervous about this product since it says not to condition and just to add 1 or 2 small pumps to towel dried hair. You let it sit for 4 minutes to activate and then move on with whatever styling and product you’d like. Somehow that small amount was enough to deeply condition and smooth my hair. I added a little more styling product and my finished hair had zero frizz. Not less, but zero! It uses a patented peptide technology to repair, restore, and strengthen hair. It goes deep into the inner layers of the hair that traditional products can not get to. So do the inner work…by fixing your hair 😉

I’m rolling into this month with a bunch of new finds. First is the Honey Banana sheet mask from TWOTSP. This Korean sheet mask uses Manuka Honey and Bananas to reduce bacterial growth and fight signs of aging. It hydrates, brightens, and balances.

At night I’m caring for my under eye skin with Estee Lauder’s Advanced Night Repair Eye Concentrate Matrix. It reduces the look of fine lines and leaves skin firmer and more nourished. I love that it’s lightweight yet effective.

I’m caring for my hair with Loreal’s new Everpure Sulfate Free Glossing pH balanced Shampoo and Conditioner. It leaves hair silky and shiny. The line is anti fade and UV filters to be gentle on color treated hair.

I love going over my dry hair with a few drops of Typology’s Repairing Hair Oil with Acai 5% + Hibiscus. It is a lightweight dry oil that controls and softens hair. This is the finishing touch your hair needs.

On to the body, I love Soap and Glory’s Magnificoco Drop In The Lotion Body Lotion. I love the smell and it absorbs quickly.

Lastly I’m using Sally Hansen’s Insta Dri X Peeps Collection in White. It dries so fast and only needs one coat.

Stay tuned for what I get into this April…
