I love my Solawave Radiant Renewal Skincare Wand. This tool is so easy to use, and does not take long to do a treatment. To me those are the two most important qualities in an at home device. This wand is actually very affordable as well. Solawave has their own line of recommended products to use with this device. I used my own serums and had wonderful results. You are best to use a product like a Hyaluronic Acid (which I did) or something Water or Aloe Vera based. Reapply if it dries into your skin before you finish your treatment. You want that “slip” there to help move the wand and transfer the microcurrent . The wand uses Red Light Therapy for radiance and antiaging effects as well as fighting dark spots and blemishes. The Microcurrent Therapy stimulates the deeper layers of your skin while the facial massage from the low vibration fights puffiness. Lastly the Therapeutic Warmth helps promote better penetrations of your products.

of Laura Geller’s Dual Ended Concealer and Foundation Brush. I was pleasantly surprised how much I liked this brush. I was using what I thought was the best out there, but this did better with my heavy liquid foundations somehow. It is dual ended which makes it great for travel. The bigger, denser, side is the part of this brush that I love. It easily spread my foundation evenly and without the need of much pressure. I found the product did not stick too much to the brush, instead staying on my skin where I want it. The smaller angled side is for concealing. For me I did not find it worked well with my liquid concealer. However, I used it as a highlighter brush with fantastic results. Since it is angled and small and can get to those angles perfectly. I think both sides would be great for contouring as well.

to do your roots at home with Clairol’s Nice’N Easy Permanent Root Touch-Up. It’s a 10 minute at home root color kit. You get plastic gloves, the color, and a special brush to get all the roots. I chose the perfect color match my first time, no problem. I leave it on for 15 minutes, though the instructions say to do 10.  It completely covered my grays and was so easy to use. It’s perfect to use when you’re trying to extend the time between salon visits, or as you’re only coverage method.

I recommend a backpack from Nomatic. They are extremely well made and keep to a very sleek style. I’ve never been a backpack person, but ever since I received mine it has become my travel go-to. It’s with me whether on the road for work or as a carry on for vacation. Nomatic’s bags come with a lifetime warranty. The basic pack I have has over 20 innovative features, is water resistant, has a laptop sleeve, sunglasses case, and 24 compartments for my organization obsession. My favorite feature is the side handle so I can hold it like a briefcase if I don’t want to wear it on my back. This bag is great as a gift, and a gift you may end up stealing, I mean borrowing…

tell you what I’m into lately. I found an amazing makeup sponge that is super cheap. It’s the Real Techniques Miracle Airblend Mattifying Beauty Makeup Sponge. I use it for almost every step of my makeup. It gives a flawless foundation finish, and blends your bronzers, blushes, and highlighters beautifully. It has a flat edge, rounded sides, and precision tip to get all over your face. As with all these sponges they work better when you use them wet.

I’m puckering up with Too Faced Lip Injection Extreme Lip Plumper. I’m not one to use lip plumping products but I was sent this for free, so I thought I’d give it a whirl. OMG this stuff actually works. My lips were immediatly plumped and left with beautiful shine too.

I’m getting Big Hair with Tresemme’s One Step 5 in 1 Texture spray. It makes my beach waves look dramatic, and it revives next day hair. I usually use aerosol texture sprays, this seems to have a stronger grip.

Try out my May finds, and let me know yours….

I have a new beauty tool in my life that I am loving. It’s the Dermapore. This device is a pore extractor and serum infuser. It uses ultrasonic vibration to help lift dirt, oil, and blackheads and an angled tip to scoop debris away. I do not use the Infuse Mode but it enhances the absorption of your serums and moisturizers. I feel this tool allows me to space out my facials and create a spa cleaning at home.

sleep, and I got it, thanks to Current Body’s Dr. Harris Anti Wrinkle Sleep Mask. This Eye Mask is actually designed to be a beauty treatment. You only need to wear it for 15 minutes to reduce wrinkles. I found it helps me fall asleep, and stay asleep. It is clinically proven to reduce wrinkles and promote emotional relaxation by 67%. “Using 2R Technology™ (muscle relaxation and emotional relaxation), the Dr. Harris Anti-Wrinkle Sleep Mask targets dynamic wrinkles, using carefully placed silicone dots to stimulate mechanoreceptors – tiny little nerve endings in your face. Once this starts to happen, it then involves your autonomic nervous system (your rest and digest system), which helps to relax the body – in particular, muscle tone and emotional relaxation.” Basically it has little dots that apply pressure to stop you from making faces that cause lines. So get to sleep with Current Beauty, and wake up rested and hot as f*&k….

hello relief, thanks to TheraIce RX. I have been using Theraice Rx’s Hot & Cold Compression Sleeve on my knee for a week. It is a game changer! I’m never going back to ice packs or anything else. I love that this product combines the therapy of cold, with the benefits of compression. It reduces pain and swelling while speeding up recovery time. The sleeve stays cold and in place without the annoyance of melted water or freezer burn on your skin. The active compression pushes excess fluid out of the affected area, while the cold temperature constricts blood vessels which reduces pain. You can use the sleeve as a hot tool as well. They have a special headpiece designed for migraines that looks very impressive. So ease your pain with Theraice Rx, and stay cool…

with Sea Witch Botanicals all natural Incense. When it comes to adding scent to your home you want to be careful what you’re using. Many candles, and fragrance products, are actually spreading toxic, endocrine disrupting ingredients in the air. Lately I’ve been using Sea Witch Botanicals incense to add scent and lift my mood. Each of their incense’s has a specific aromatherapy goal, from reducing anxiety, to grounding energy. The sticks are all natural, essential oil based, and air purifying.  25 bamboo sticks come in a box, and you can also get a 50 piece eco set in a compostable bag. They use activated charcoal which purifies the air as you burn it. So light up with Sea Witch, and drift away…
