I love PÜR Beauty’s Multitasking Essentials Best Sellers Kit. Each piece is great and includes the basics for a quick touch up, post beach, post gym, post work, whatever/whenever moment. It comes with a primer that I found to be lightweight and effective. There is a mascara that definitely gave length and definition to my lashes. There is a brush included for their star product- the 4 in 1 Pressed Mineral Makeup foundation that has Broad Spectrum Spf 15 coverage. I love the look this mineral powder gives. My skin looked flawless and Matte but not flat. There is a slight luminousity without any shine. I went a shade darker than my skin and it gave me a gorgeous, natural sun kissed look.

of Laura Geller’s Dual Ended Concealer and Foundation Brush. I was pleasantly surprised how much I liked this brush. I was using what I thought was the best out there, but this did better with my heavy liquid foundations somehow. It is dual ended which makes it great for travel. The bigger, denser, side is the part of this brush that I love. It easily spread my foundation evenly and without the need of much pressure. I found the product did not stick too much to the brush, instead staying on my skin where I want it. The smaller angled side is for concealing. For me I did not find it worked well with my liquid concealer. However, I used it as a highlighter brush with fantastic results. Since it is angled and small and can get to those angles perfectly. I think both sides would be great for contouring as well.

but I won’t skimp on quality. I am pleasantly surprised with the products I bought from shopmissa.com. Everything on this site is $1! They have their own line, AOA, and they carry other brands like ELF and L.A. Colors. They keep prices down by working directly with the manufacturer. So whether you’re looking for an alternative to your expensive buys or just want to play around with some different products, this is the spot. My favorite things I bought are the eyebrow pencil and Eyebrow Gel.
AOA-3004-MAIN_medium
The AOA Sculpting Brow Pencil is a triangular-tipped, retractable pencil to shape and fill in brows. It’s easy to use and gives a bold yet natural look. It has a spooley at the end to blend. The AOA Go Brow Mascara is said to rival boy brow. I have no need to ever spend more than a $1 on brow gel.

The F9 Contour brush is amazing for blending bronzers and highlighters. Works on both creams and powders.

Lastly the AOA FX contour sticks are easy to use and extremely blendable. I can’t wait to try more products from this line. So get with Miss A and be cheap, but quality…

Here’s what grabbing my attention this month….

The Invisibobble is my new favorite hair elastic, because it’s so much more than an elastic. It doesn’t kink your hair, or cause split ends. It replaces the need for bobbypins, by securing while holding your hair.

My hair is soft and light because I’m using Shea Moisture’s Fruit Fusion Coconut Water Weightless Creme Rinse. It’s extreamly lightweight so your hair can reach volume goals. It’s organic and filled with good stuff like dragon fruit, lychee berry, and green apple extracts.

The volume doesn’t stop at my hair, my lashes are feeling it to. My new go-to mascara is Loreal’s Feline Noir. It gives instant volume, with full lash density and an intense black color.

My makeup drawer has another addition. Skinfood’s spoon foundation brush. It is made for foundation but I use it for blending. It’s best for when I go to heavy on the bronzer or blush to really spread it out.

It is a loose mineral foundation that can be applied dry or added to primer, spf, serum, etc., to become a liquid foundation. You can also use it as a finishing powder and touch up duster. It is lightweight, and gives light to medium coverage. I am obsessed with their #3 Domed Foundation brush. It is perfect for mineral cosmetics and great when contouring. with your foundation brush. Try the BlendSMART brush from Doll 10 Beauty. This brush rotates 360 degrees at 190 revolutions per minute. It is said to allow you to use half the normal amount of foundation that you normally use. It works with both liquids and powders. I like it most for blending my foundation once I put it on with my usual brushes, or if I went too heavy on the blush.  Here is a tutorial on how to use it. So power it on, and get rotating…..

trystal minerals

and my new obsession, Vita Liberata Trystal Minerals! This is a self-tanning mineral bronzer. It sold out in the first two weeks on their website and is flying off the shelves at Sephora.  I will definitely be  wearing this all summer and beyond. It gives me the most amazing surfer girl/just got back from Mexico bronze. Using the Trystal3 technology it interacts with your moisturizer or liquid foundation to tan the skin gradually over time. It comes with a great Kabuki brush and instructions on how to make a major contoured look. It is oil free and lightweight. I wear it over BB Cream for a flawless look. So bronze up and strip down….

Cherry-Blooms-Brush-On-Fiber-Eyelash-Extensions-In-60-SecondsCherry Blooms Mascara Brush On Fiber Eyelash Extensions are a great addition to your makeup arsenal. I’ve tried lots of “brush on fiber” types of mascaras and this is the best, and easiest, to use so far. The fibers are lightweight, comfortable, and there is very little clumping. It’s easy and quick to apply. First swipe on the transplanting mascara gel (20 quick strokes) then add the fibers (15-20 strokes) last follow up with the mascara gel (20 strokes). You are left with longer , thicker, lashes, that easily wash off. The formula contains a natural high grade potent beeswax and black fibers,- that do not fall on your face unlike other brands.
The gel stimulates lash growth, antibacterial properties, and moisturizing properties acting like a leave-in conditioner for your lashes. So go big with Cherry Blossoms, and everything else….

becca-cosmetics-one-perfecting-brush_1814_2you will be too. I am in love with The One Perfecting Brush. it is a patent pending design, that allows it to be a contour AND foundation brush for both liquids and powders. I use it mainly for my powder foundation. I love how quickly it covers my face, and that it allows a buildable coverage. You can use it on your face, and body. It’s great for their Shimmering Skin Perfector. This Sheer liquid adds a tan and shimmer look anywhere you need it. It is hydrating, has spf 25 protection, and is loaded with antioxidants.  It will subtly highlight your face and body diffusing uneven skin tone. I love to use it on my legs. So get with Becca and tell your friends…
