is just a few steps away with Perfect Skin products from Christie Kidd. I have been using the Clean Natural Facial Cleanser on nights when I really need a deep clean. Makeup and grime are no match for this cleanser. It reduces oil, bacteria, and blemishes. It uses natural oils and plant extracts to get the job done. It gets a good lather and leaves skin feeling very clean. I used the Fresh Pads on my chest when I had a bit of a breakout. It cleared to nothing in two days. These exfoliating pads use Witch Hazel, Willow Bark Extract and Ginger Root to rid dead skin and blemish causing bacteria. I highly recommend checking out this line if you have acne, or occasional breakouts.

has never disappointed me. Tatcha continues to have some of the best products out there and the prettiest packaging. Lately I’ve been using their The Deep Cleanse Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser and the best selling Violet-C Brightening Serum. The cleanser gently removes all makeup and dirt while minimizing excess oil and uncloging my pores. It is gel like and turns to a creamy foam. The Violet-C is 20% Vitamin C with 10% AHA’s. This is designed to brighten and strengthen skin for a more radiant look. The directions say to use it at night but I used it in the daytime after the Tatcha Essence and followed with moisturizer and sunblock. Check out Tatcha, they won’t let you down.

I’ve added some additions to my beauty vanity this month. Summer means skins, and here’s how I’m taking care of mine;

At night I’m washing my face with Peter Thomas Roth’s 3% Glycolic Solutions Cleanser. It is anti-aging & exfoliating. It removes my makeup and any excess oil. The Glycolic Acid shrinks pores, improves clarity and reduces fine lines.

For day and night Eye Cream I’m using Park Perfection’s 2 in 1 Instant Eye Lift. It’s designed to tighten and lift the eye skin while reducing wrinkles and puffiness. It uses minerals, peptides and antioxidants to balance and enhance skin around the eye.

I was overdue for a new foundation brush. I am very happy with NYX Cosmetics Total Control Drop Foundation Brush. It’s designed for liquid but i’ve used it with my powders as well. It blends perfectly. I love that is it angled to get around every curve of your face.

I am obsessed with Macadamia Professional Nourishing Repair Oil Spray. It’s officially summer, which means I’m not drying my hair. I let it air dray and then add this spray for a finished look. It has an ultra fine spray and instantly adds shine, moisture, softness, and uv protection. It says to use on wet hair, but I’ve been using it on both wet and dry.

3 steps to be exact. I’m crazy about Naisture’s 3 step skincare kits. These are perfect for travel, an overnight, or any evening you want to pamper. I have used both the Exfoliating and Recharging lines. The exfoliating one comes with a cleanser, a peeling pad, and sleeping mask moisturizer.  The cleanser deep cleans, the peeling pad uses AHA’s, Tiger Cica Extract, and Blueberry Extract to remove dead skin and any left over grime. The sleeping mask plumps and nourishes to get you ready for your glow up by morning. The Recharging packet has a cleanser, sheet mask, and moisturizer. The cleanser uses Rice, Grapefruit, and Licorice Extracts. The sheet mask has cactus, Tiger Cica, and Honey Extract. They Hydro Moisturizer deeply moisturizes with Allantoin, Camellia Extract and Pine tree extract. So get with Naisture’s 3 step kits for better skin, by tomorrow.

This month I have discovered two cleansers that are instant favorites. I was impressed with both on first use, and will continue to buy them both. I am crazy about Indie Lee’s Brightening Cleanser. This gentle, foaming, cleanser completely removes makeup and dirt without drying out your skin. It is made with Strawberry Seed Oil, hydrolyzed wheat protein and Tomato extracts. You can leave it on for 5 minutes to use as an exfoliating mask. Skin is left brightened and softened. I am a huge fan of this brand in general. Every product is made from high quality ingredients that blend the best of nature and Science. The second cleanser I’ve gone crazy for is Bare Minerals Pure Plush Gentle Deep Cleansing Foam. Just a pea sized amount provides enough lather to deep clean your entire face. It uses mineral rich sea salts, rosemary, and elderflower to brighten and refine skin. This cleanser even removes my eyemakeup. Both of these brands deliver instant results. So get dirty, to get clean again…

loofah. I’ve upgraded my shower routine with my Bathorium Konjac Bamboo Charcoal Body Sponge. This sponge is so much more luxurious and exfoliating then the loofah’s I’ve been using in the past. It uses hand harvested Asian Konjac root which is naturally micro-antibacterial. So unlike a loofa it naturally fights off bacteria. The Bamboo charcoal helps draw out impurities. Simply add your body wash and luxuriate in major lather. I love that it comes on a string so you can hang it to dry. So upgrade your shower time with Bathorium, and keep it clean …. for now…

when I have a zit. I’ve written about pimple patches before, but I have discovered a new favorite in the game. It is Zitsticka. This product is a stand out, and really works. The sickers use microdart technology to infiltrate and dissolve the pimple.  The first step is to use the included Cleana pads to prep the area you are treating. It is pre treated pad that is soaked with exfoliating, de-stressing ingredients. Follow that with the Killa hydrocolloid patch, placed over pimple. These patches with 24 microdarts on them, target the deep early stage zit that other patches can’t. The Killa also contains hyaluronic acid, salicylic acid, Niacinamide, sodium hydroxide and oligopeptide-76. So say hello to Zitskicka, and bye to pimples…

and you should too! Sunday Riley’s Good Genes All in One Lactic Acid Treatment. This serum means business. You feel it working right when you put it on. It is strong, so I would not recommend to those with sensitive skin. The Purified Lactic Acid is hydrating and exfoliating. Your skin is left clarified, refreshed, and smoother. It helps fight build up of dead skin cells and excess sebum. There is also licorice for brightening, lemongrass to tone, and arnica to soothe. This is a cult favorite and I can see why. So get Good Genes, even if you weren’t born with them…

Veletta skincare is a natural line, made in small batches in the South Island of New Zealand. It contains unique ingredients from the region. My favorite product in the line is the Purifying Mask. It is designed to remove impurities while brightening and exfoliating. It comes as a powder that you add water to. It then turns into a very cool mousse texture. The power ingredients are Kaolin Clay, French Pink Clay, Vitamin C, Raw Cacao powder, Matcha Powder and Neem leaf. I love that it feels like I get a deep clean without drying out my skin. So get with Veletta and take some time to pamper yourself.

Microderma Mitts. They are 100& floss silk exfoliating Mitts for your face and body. I have been using the body mitt. It deeply exfoliates to remove dead skin and impurities trapped in your pores. Your skin is left smoother, healthier, and softer. It can help stimulate collagen production and prevent cellulite and razor bumps. It will remove previous sunless tanning product and prep for a more even sunnless tan. So try out MicrodermaMitt for a natural exfoliation, and a smoother body for a rough world….
