I have found a unique and outstanding foundation brush. Jems Foundation Brush is perfect for beginners and experts. This uniquily angled brush allows you to evenly blend foundation all over your face. It gets into every crevice and makes sure products is evenly distributed. I think it is great for thick foundations that you normally have to do some work to blend into the skin. It is soft and dense. It worked beautifully with both my liquid and powder foundations. I think it is also great for blending out contour. I can’t wait to try the rest of the brushes in this line.
I love Smileactives Pro Whitening Gel. This is by far the easiest, most painless whitening product I have tried. It is a whitening gel you simply add to your toothpaste on the brush twice a day. You already brush your teeth twice a day at minimum. Why not whiten them at the same time. There is no taste to the product. I noticed no sensitivity to my teeth and gums, like I often do with whitening products. Not only is it easy, it works.

I love PÜR Beauty’s Multitasking Essentials Best Sellers Kit. Each piece is great and includes the basics for a quick touch up, post beach, post gym, post work, whatever/whenever moment. It comes with a primer that I found to be lightweight and effective. There is a mascara that definitely gave length and definition to my lashes. There is a brush included for their star product- the 4 in 1 Pressed Mineral Makeup foundation that has Broad Spectrum Spf 15 coverage. I love the look this mineral powder gives. My skin looked flawless and Matte but not flat. There is a slight luminousity without any shine. I went a shade darker than my skin and it gave me a gorgeous, natural sun kissed look.
of Laura Geller’s Dual Ended Concealer and Foundation Brush. I was pleasantly surprised how much I liked this brush. I was using what I thought was the best out there, but this did better with my heavy liquid foundations somehow. It is dual ended which makes it great for travel. The bigger, denser, side is the part of this brush that I love. It easily spread my foundation evenly and without the need of much pressure. I found the product did not stick too much to the brush, instead staying on my skin where I want it. The smaller angled side is for concealing. For me I did not find it worked well with my liquid concealer. However, I used it as a highlighter brush with fantastic results. Since it is angled and small and can get to those angles perfectly. I think both sides would be great for contouring as well.

Here’s what grabbing my attention this month….

The Invisibobble is my new favorite hair elastic, because it’s so much more than an elastic. It doesn’t kink your hair, or cause split ends. It replaces the need for bobbypins, by securing while holding your hair.

My hair is soft and light because I’m using Shea Moisture’s Fruit Fusion Coconut Water Weightless Creme Rinse. It’s extreamly lightweight so your hair can reach volume goals. It’s organic and filled with good stuff like dragon fruit, lychee berry, and green apple extracts.

The volume doesn’t stop at my hair, my lashes are feeling it to. My new go-to mascara is Loreal’s Feline Noir. It gives instant volume, with full lash density and an intense black color.

My makeup drawer has another addition. Skinfood’s spoon foundation brush. It is made for foundation but I use it for blending. It’s best for when I go to heavy on the bronzer or blush to really spread it out.

with your foundation brush. Try the BlendSMART brush from Doll 10 Beauty. This brush rotates 360 degrees at 190 revolutions per minute. It is said to allow you to use half the normal amount of foundation that you normally use. It works with both liquids and powders. I like it most for blending my foundation once I put it on with my usual brushes, or if I went too heavy on the blush. Here is a tutorial on how to use it. So power it on, and get rotating…..
and my new obsession, Vita Liberata Trystal Minerals! This is a self-tanning mineral bronzer. It sold out in the first two weeks on their website and is flying off the shelves at Sephora. I will definitely be wearing this all summer and beyond. It gives me the most amazing surfer girl/just got back from Mexico bronze. Using the Trystal3 technology it interacts with your moisturizer or liquid foundation to tan the skin gradually over time. It comes with a great Kabuki brush and instructions on how to make a major contoured look. It is oil free and lightweight. I wear it over BB Cream for a flawless look. So bronze up and strip down….
