Clarifique Exfoliating & Hydrating Face Essence with Glycolic Acid. This product brings the best of both worlds together. They hydration and blancing of an essence, with the exfoliation of Glycolic Acid. It will exfoliate and nourish skin. I use it as part of my night time routine. It will help your skin better absorb the products you use on top of it. It has a water like consistency that immediately penetrates the skin.
I love Nudebody’s Exfoliating Butter Body Wash. This stuff really foams, and yet it is clean. Most clean cleansers get a minimal lather, but not this one. The packaging is simple yet chic and looks great on my shower shelf. You do not need to use a loofah with it, but you can. It uses salt, salicylic acid, papaya enzymes and glycolic acid, to exfoliate and citrus butter to hydrate. I like a chemical exfoliation in the shower since I find a lot of scrubs use a material that is too weak or too strong. My skin feels soft and clean after use. It is scented but I found the scent to be light, and doesn’t stay on the skin. I think all skin types would like this product, and the packaging is somewhat gender neutral.
has never disappointed me. Tatcha continues to have some of the best products out there and the prettiest packaging. Lately I’ve been using their The Deep Cleanse Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser and the best selling Violet-C Brightening Serum. The cleanser gently removes all makeup and dirt while minimizing excess oil and uncloging my pores. It is gel like and turns to a creamy foam. The Violet-C is 20% Vitamin C with 10% AHA’s. This is designed to brighten and strengthen skin for a more radiant look. The directions say to use it at night but I used it in the daytime after the Tatcha Essence and followed with moisturizer and sunblock. Check out Tatcha, they won’t let you down.
I’ve added some additions to my beauty vanity this month. Summer means skins, and here’s how I’m taking care of mine;
At night I’m washing my face with Peter Thomas Roth’s 3% Glycolic Solutions Cleanser. It is anti-aging & exfoliating. It removes my makeup and any excess oil. The Glycolic Acid shrinks pores, improves clarity and reduces fine lines.
For day and night Eye Cream I’m using Park Perfection’s 2 in 1 Instant Eye Lift. It’s designed to tighten and lift the eye skin while reducing wrinkles and puffiness. It uses minerals, peptides and antioxidants to balance and enhance skin around the eye.
I was overdue for a new foundation brush. I am very happy with NYX Cosmetics Total Control Drop Foundation Brush. It’s designed for liquid but i’ve used it with my powders as well. It blends perfectly. I love that is it angled to get around every curve of your face.
I am obsessed with Macadamia Professional Nourishing Repair Oil Spray. It’s officially summer, which means I’m not drying my hair. I let it air dray and then add this spray for a finished look. It has an ultra fine spray and instantly adds shine, moisture, softness, and uv protection. It says to use on wet hair, but I’ve been using it on both wet and dry.
3 steps to be exact. I’m crazy about Naisture’s 3 step skincare kits. These are perfect for travel, an overnight, or any evening you want to pamper. I have used both the Exfoliating and Recharging lines. The exfoliating one comes with a cleanser, a peeling pad, and sleeping mask moisturizer. The cleanser deep cleans, the peeling pad uses AHA’s, Tiger Cica Extract, and Blueberry Extract to remove dead skin and any left over grime. The sleeping mask plumps and nourishes to get you ready for your glow up by morning. The Recharging packet has a cleanser, sheet mask, and moisturizer. The cleanser uses Rice, Grapefruit, and Licorice Extracts. The sheet mask has cactus, Tiger Cica, and Honey Extract. They Hydro Moisturizer deeply moisturizes with Allantoin, Camellia Extract and Pine tree extract. So get with Naisture’s 3 step kits for better skin, by tomorrow.
