FEELIN CHEEKY….

I had fun with GXVE Feelin’ Cheeky Clean Amplifying Blush Duo. It was nice to try out the different ways you could work with a blush palette. I used the Ex Girlfriend kit. I liked the it both when used as a single color and when combined. The pigment is deep/strong so you do not need a lot of product. I think this blush will last me over a year. I love the dimension the use of two shades allowed. I think it is great for all skin tones but darker skinned people will definitely appreciate the color pop. It lasts all day and night with no need for touch up. It took me a few uses to figure out how to get just the right amount on the brush for the look I was going for. It gives a lifted look where you want it and the shimmer attracts just the right amount of shine. The packaging is really eye catching and looks great on my vanity.

APRIL SHOWERS BRING….

new beauty finds. Here’s what I’m getting into this month…. I found a great, fast working, hair mask from Pureology. It’s their Strength Cure Superfood Treatment. It’s a fortifying mask designed to strengthen and smooth split ends while preventing further damage. It uses Olive Oil, Goji Berry, and their signature aromatherapy blend. I’ve never had a bad experience with Purology and this mask does not disappoint.

For my skin I’m using Peach & Lilly’s Wild Dew Treatment Essence. This hydrating post cleansing step will improve skin’s radiance while fighting acne. It sinks deep into skin fast, to leave your face ready to drink up your next step. It contains lotus extract, niacinamide, yeast ferment, adenosine, bamboo extract, and radish leaf. It is refreshing and effective.

My latest makeup additon is Essence’s Make Me Brow Eyebrow Gel Mascara. I love how small the brush is small to get the perfect application. It has tiny fibers to fill in caps and create fuller more tamed defined brows.

when you cleanse. Definitions Skincare has just the product to do so. Their Deep Cleansing Scrub Refiner both exfoliates and cleans your skin. It is a gel, with soy ricebran microbeads in it. When mixed with water it gets foamy. I love this, because I find most exfoliants don’t foam and therefore don’t seem like they’re cleaning (to me anyway). It is made with essential oils, green tea extract, vanilla oil, orange & Lemon Peel, Jasmine, Eucalyptus and Soybean. It is recommended to use twice a week after cleansing. GET PHENOMENAL ON ME……

vita liberataI have found my new favorite line of self tanning products. It is called Vita Liberata. So far I have tried their Phenomenal 2-3 week self tanning mousse, Rich Tinted Self Tan Lotion, and Deep Face Untinted Self Tan Lotion. I love them all. You can buy them at sephora! They do not smell, do not leave streaks, they don’t look orange, and they dry fast. I even wore all white one night after applying in the morning. These products are packed with organic extracts to hydrate your skin, while giving an amazing bronzed look. The mousse is so easy to apply.  I use their tanning mitt which helps the product to glide evenly all over your body, while keeping your hands free of product. It is soft enough to use on your face. So get darker with Vita Liberata and let it get deep…..
