well, my lashes have. I have the good problem of having very long lashes. This is a problem because they touch my brow bone and under eye area. The undereye is the bigger problem since I don’t want any dark color there. I thought I’d give tubing mascara a go, and I thought I’d go for a cheap brand that never lets me down. Essence’s Bye Bye Panda Eyes does the trick! It’s only $4.99 at Ulta. A few quick swipes on my lashes and they are good to go with zero smudge. It comes off easy with my regular nighttime cleanser.
and I’m glad it did. It is how I found my new favorite blush. Glam by Majha blush in Blossom Pink has changed my makeup game. It is the best pink I have found, and I have tried them all. It is a matte powder. There is so much pigment and it really lasts. The company is French, so I spent more on the shipping than the actual product. It’s worth it, and I’ll do it again when I run out. I wear it alone, and sometimes over a liquid blush. It looks good on all skin colors too!

I love Jason Wu Beauty’s Ready Set Radiance in Glow! This is my new favorite setting powder. I wasn’t sure I would like it because these days a lot of “illuminating” products are not for me. They are too shiny, greasy, or glittery. This powder gives you just a touch of glow, like you’re walking around during the golden hour permanently. It kept my makeup in place, and I did not get shiny throughout the night. It comes with a super soft powder puff that gives the perfect application. It allows you to press in the powder and be exact about where you want it. I love that it is infused with vitamin c and rosehip oil to give a bit of care as well perfection. I think all ages and skin types will love this product. I will definitely be buying this again.
I love most things I try from Kosas. Recently I tried both their Concealer and Foundation. They do not disappoint. Kosas’s Revealer Concealer. For me I prefer to use it to lighten areas of my face as apposed to under eye concealer. It does work well under the eyes, but I prefer something a with a bit more coverage for that area. I love the applicator. It makes it really easy to apply directly to your face where you need it. It feels good on my skin and lasts. The Revealer Skin-Improving Foundation with Broad Spectrum SPF 25 is fantastic. It feels light on the skin and dries down fast. It lasts all day and night, and worked well with my other products. It gives a medium finish with a touch of glow. I think oily and dry skin would work well with it.

I love PÜR Beauty’s Multitasking Essentials Best Sellers Kit. Each piece is great and includes the basics for a quick touch up, post beach, post gym, post work, whatever/whenever moment. It comes with a primer that I found to be lightweight and effective. There is a mascara that definitely gave length and definition to my lashes. There is a brush included for their star product- the 4 in 1 Pressed Mineral Makeup foundation that has Broad Spectrum Spf 15 coverage. I love the look this mineral powder gives. My skin looked flawless and Matte but not flat. There is a slight luminousity without any shine. I went a shade darker than my skin and it gave me a gorgeous, natural sun kissed look.
here’s what I am playing with this month…
Alastin Skincare’s HA Immerse Serum. It’s lightweight, absorbs quick, great for layering, and sits well under makeup. It’s won some awards, and Alastin is a skincare company you can trust.
Dior Addict Lip Maximizer Plumping Gloss. Everytime I think I found my favorite gloss, I fall in love with another. This is definitly a top 3. I have it in Pink 001, and it is perfect. The right amount of shine, no stickyness, and great hold.
I pair the above gloss with the perfect Nude Liner I found from ColourPop. It’s their Lippie Pencil in BFF. It goes on smooth and easy, and pairs with any nude lip or pink gloss.
Stay tuned for what March brings…
I have a new favorite foundation and it’s expensive. Tom Ford’s Traceless Soft Matte Foundation is lux! It is medium to full coverage and feels like nothing on the skin. It has a matte finish with light diffusing microspheres to blur any imperfections. The foundation is infused with Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin C, E, and Caffeine to plump and care for your skin. It lasts all night and will work in humid environments. If you want to spend the money this is it!
the Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer from Fenty Beauty! This is my new go-to lip gloss. The color, texture, feel, and look are perfect. I have it in “Fussy”. It’s soft and light, and has good staying power for a gloss. It has no glitter but major reflective shine. It conditions with Shea Butter, it’s not sticky, and has a pretty scent. So pucker up with Fenty!

I have never cared for mascara primer until now. I love Mally’s Open Up Mascara Primer. It perfectly separated and extended my lashes. It is lightweight and easy to apply. The unique brush shape allows you to get every little lash and the formula is conditioning to your lashes. It only adds an extra two seconds to your makeup and routine and delivers a big difference. I noticed it made my mascara stick to my lashes better. I often get black on my brow bone from lashes touching my skin, and this did not happen. I found it to remove easily. I have somewhat sensitive eyes and did not have any irritation. So swipe on and open wide…
Lip Gloss from Mally. This gloss is shiny and lightweight. There is no tackyness, and it lasts (for a gloss). I love the applicator. It grabs the perfect amount for application, and the pointed tip allows you to be exact with placement. I loved the color on me, and think it would work well with most skin tones. It is a nice in-between of a berry and a pink. There is a light tingle when applied. I did not notice any plumping, however I have big lips so it’s not always evident. Lips are left hydrated, soft, comfortable. The gloss has Vitamin E, Rice Bran oil, Jojoba Seed and Sweet Almond Oils to soften and moisturize. I will be using this flexible nude from Summer to Winter.
