WHAT I’M INTO…

this August. I found some new products that I am really enjoying. The first is DRMTLGY’s Luminous Eye Corrector with SPF 41. This may be my favorite find of the year. It is a color corrector with SPF. It works so well you may not need concealer with it. The good news is it lays beautifully under makeup. It is packed with good for you ingredients. I like to apply it with my finger.

Next I’ve gotten into Lancome’s LIP IDÔLE SQUALANE BUTTERGLOW HYDRATING LIP BALM in keep it Glowy. This is a barely there, lip enhancing product. I like to use it for a no makeup look. It feels hydrating and soft.

Lastly I am using Neutregena’s Rapid Wrinkle Repair Retinol Pro+ .5% Power Serum. This serum absorbs super fast and is extremely lightweight. It fights wrinkles and dark spots. I layer a heavier moisturizer on top.

AUGUST 2021 THINGS…

I’m loving Skinceuticals Triple Lipid Restore moisturizer. It is designed to restore the skin’s external barrier and support self repair. I found it to be majorly nourishing and hydrating. It will help to even out and improve overall radiance. It’s lightweight and fast absorbing.

I’m protecting my body at the beach with Neutrogena’s Invisible Daily Defense Lotion SPF 60+. I love the texture and smell of this sunscreen. It’s hydrating and formulated with antioxidants. It is quick drying and lightweight.

My new serum is StriVectin’s Super C Retinol Brighten & Correct Vitamin C Serum. I love the concept of a Vitamin C and a Retinol in one product. This lightweight serum brightens and firms skin, while smoothing fine lines and improving texture. It’s not sticky at all, and absorbs fast. It is perfect for layering under a moisturizer and makeup.

Recently I decided to get serious on my pores. It was time to clean house. I live in Miami and have somewhat oily skin to begin with. Between all the products I’m always testing, and the makeup I’m rocking, I felt like my skin was getting a little congested. So I went to CVS and bought a reliable astringent to kick some ass. Neutrogena Clear Pore oil-eliminating astringent is no joke. It makes a definite difference within a few days. It has salicylic acid and, according to their website, benzoyl peroxide in it. Alcohol is the first ingredient so be careful how often you use it. So clear your pores and clutter your social calendar…..

I recommend Neutorgena Oil Free Pink Grapefruit Acne Cleanser for those with oily skin. I think it’s a bit much if you have dry skin. Neutrogena is definitely a brand you can trust and this is one of their best products. It quickly removes makeup (even eye makeup) as well is cleaning out your pores. I notice a difference after one use. It’s full of natural awesomeness like grapefruit and vitamin c’s. Which is more than what I can say about your D’s…
