so I’ve upped my serum game. I am currently using Nani Pua’s 1960 Ethnobotanical Face Serum. This luxury botanical oil blend is lightweight yet insanely moisturizing. It brightens and hydrates with “15 vital rare ingredients” that address a broad range of skin conditions. Ethnobotany is the study of a region’s plants and their practical uses through the traditional knowledge of local culture and people. Head to their website to review each ingredient used and why they chose it. So get with Nani Pua and don’t let winter take the glow out of your skin.
with August & Monroe’s Calm Cream. August & Monroe was created by a makeup artist who personally suffers from sensitive, acned skin. This moisturizer is soothing and hydrating. The lightweight gel texture quickly absorbs and goes great under makeup. I recommend checking out the before & after pics on their website. I love the packaging. The bottle keeps product air locked and is refillable. The cream is fragrance free, paraben free, clean, vegan, and cruelty free. So get with August & Monroe and give your skin some zen….
Skintensive is a skincare line created by two Harvard trained dermatologists. It uses natural, ethically produced ingredients for results you can see. The formulas are designed form maturing skin, but of course work on all types. They believe “nature is our inspiration and science is our guide”. I have been using the Bruise & Scar Cream. It is designed to help with bruises and scars especially post procedure. The power ingredients are Arnica Montana (anti-inflammatory), Vitamin K (bruise healling/collagen forming), Coconut Oil(anti inflammatory/hydrating/soothing)and Vitamin E. I have been testing it on a scar and it has definitely sped up the healing time. So get intense on your scars with Skintensive, because no one needs to know you had a procedure or are just a clutz ;)…
new beauty finds. Here’s what I’m getting into this month…. I found a great, fast working, hair mask from Pureology. It’s their Strength Cure Superfood Treatment. It’s a fortifying mask designed to strengthen and smooth split ends while preventing further damage. It uses Olive Oil, Goji Berry, and their signature aromatherapy blend. I’ve never had a bad experience with Purology and this mask does not disappoint.
For my skin I’m using Peach & Lilly’s Wild Dew Treatment Essence. This hydrating post cleansing step will improve skin’s radiance while fighting acne. It sinks deep into skin fast, to leave your face ready to drink up your next step. It contains lotus extract, niacinamide, yeast ferment, adenosine, bamboo extract, and radish leaf. It is refreshing and effective.
My latest makeup additon is Essence’s Make Me Brow Eyebrow Gel Mascara. I love how small the brush is small to get the perfect application. It has tiny fibers to fill in caps and create fuller more tamed defined brows.

Caire for your skin like I do. I am using Caire Skincare’s Triple Lift Molecule Mask and Theorem Serum weekly. The Caire line is designed for women 40+ and sets out to fight the hormonal changes that happen to your skin. The Lift Molecule Mask is an effective, hydrating and healing powerhouse. It uses Hyaluronic Acid, and Hyaluronic Growth factor that is “turbo-charged through our unique delivery mechanism”. You apply the mask and leave it for 15-30 minutes. It tightens as it dries. After removal follow with their Theorem Serum. It deeply absorbs into skin and provides long term effects. I suggest heading over to their site to read all about the science and results. So get lifted and hydrated with Caire, and bring back that youthful glow.

about Buzios? Buzios skincare is a Brazilian line that is all about the glow. They believe in a 2 step skincare ritual for plumped dewy akin. Step 1 is a cleansing, detoxifying, exfoliating cream. Step 2 is a hydrating, moisturizing all over serum. I have been using their cleanser, Bare Skin. For me I like it as my first step in my double cleanse routine. Therefore I use it a bit differently than directed. It has natural retinol, antioxidants, and 5 amazonian super foods in it. I love how it removes dirt and makeup while leaving my skin enriched. You can remove it with a cotton pad or damp microfiber towel. So get that Brazilian beauty glow, and go bare….

It’s small batch when it comes to Lone Star Botanicals. They ethically source the best herbs and spices from Organic farms all over the world. I have gotten into using their face scrubs and face masks this winter, and had great results. The Refresh Hydrating Green Tea Face Scrub exfoliates, hydrates, and brightens your skin. Soothe Moisturizing Shea Butter Pumice face Scrub moisturizes and smooths skin. I rarely like scrubs, because I find them to be too harsh. These allowed for a gentle, yet effective cleaning. I like all their Masks, though the Renew Rejuvenating Herbal Clay Mask was my favorite. It gave me a brighter, more awake looking complexion. So try out Lone Star botanicals, and get big results with just a little….

now you can get them in your makeup. Ere Perez has created Oat Milk Foundation. “Oats are part of the grasses family, the Gramineae. The oat is used as an antioxidant, skin-conditioning agent, emollient, and has anti-inflammatory properties.” The creamy foundation has a natural, long lasting, finish. It is ultra hydrating with medium to full coverage. It also has Peach and Vitamin E for added benefit. All Ere Perez cosmetics are natural and contain active ingredients. So add on the makeup and still claim it’s natural ;)….
