BE GENTLE…

like Versed Skincare’s The Purist Antioxidant Cleanser. It is a soap free cleanser designed to gently remove dirt, oil and impurities. I tried it as a morning and evening cleanser. It has become my current “in the shower” cleanser. I love the look of the rectangular square blue bottle. I prefer that it is plastic, so when I drop it it’s not a travesty. The gel like cleanser foams up quickly and easily washes away whatever is unwanted, yet it leaves skin’s barrier in tact. Skin is left soft and hydrated with the boost of conditioning antioxidants. It is unscented and perfect for both sexes. I think all skin types will like it.

Rolling into 2021…

with some new faves. Lets start with skincare. I’m loving Algenist Skincare’s AA Barrier Serum. This antioxidant rich serum is designed to defent the skin barrier against pollutants and environmental aggressors. It uses Alguronic Acid, Niacinamide, Phloretin, and Ergothioneine. It improves skins appearance and uneveness. I love the texture of it. It feels luxurious and absorbs well.

My new makeup finds start with a cult favorite foundation. I now understand why Estee Lauder’s Double Wear Foundation is so popular. This 24 hour wear, full coverage, Matte foundation really delivers. It leaves skin looking fresh and flawless yet somehow remains lightweight on the skin. It is heat resistant, and waterproof. There are over 55 shades to choose from.

Taking things to the ever important brows. For the last few years I’ve stuck with NYX’s micro brow pencil. I think it’s better than its expensive competitors. I’m now following it with their Control Freak Eyebrow Gel. It is a clear gel that tames brows and gives a fuller effect. It’s not sticky and stays comfortable all day. So play with some new finds for 2021, I won’t tell last year’s products you’re cheating 😉

about Buzios? Buzios skincare is a Brazilian line that is all about the glow. They believe in a 2 step skincare ritual for plumped dewy akin. Step 1 is a cleansing, detoxifying, exfoliating cream. Step 2 is a hydrating, moisturizing all over serum.  I have been using their cleanser, Bare Skin. For me I like it as my first step in my double cleanse routine. Therefore I use it a bit differently than directed. It has natural retinol, antioxidants, and 5 amazonian super foods in it. I love how it removes dirt and makeup while leaving my skin enriched. You can remove it with a cotton pad or damp microfiber towel. So get that Brazilian beauty glow, and go bare….

Pai Skincare is made in London and my Miami skin can not get enough of it! The line is created for sensitive skin, but benefits all types. Their Light Work Rosehip Cleansing Oil is quickly becoming one of my favorite oil cleansers. It removes all makeup, with no eye irritation. I love that when you rinse it off there is no oil residue left on the skin. I follow that with the Rice Plant & Rosemary BioAffinity Tonic. It refreshes and rebalances skin and brings it to the correct pH. It is rich in vitamins, minerals, and amino acids. Then comes the amazing Rosehip BioRegenerate Oil. This oil gives your skin an immediate glow. Andean Rosehip oil is rich in Omegas 3,6,7, & 9. It has antioxidant carotenoids to repair and protect skin. This oil is “packed with twice the regenrative sterols and five times more carotenoids than your average cold pressed rosehip seed oil” So try out Pai products, and don’t be so sensitive ;)….

I will review a few of them here, and post a follow up with some more of their goodies. After I wash and tone I’ve been applying the Acid Cream ph 5.5. It will also enhance the benefits of other skin care products applied on top. Next I use the 24H Total Control Serum. It is designed to increase firmness while energizing the cellular activity.
